Evenings at PARI

Each Month PARI welcomes visitors to our campus for Evenings at PARI. The programs, which are held the second Friday of each month, feature tours, lectures and nighttime observations.

The public is invited to visit PARI for an introduction to PARI and its mission. The program includes a tour, lecture on a current astronomy topic and outdoor observing session.

Evenings at PARI are held the second Friday of each month

Reservations are required, with bookings taking place until 3pm the day of the event. Costs are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military personnel, and $10 for children under 14.

 Presentation of the constellations and planets in the night sky.

Each evening will consist of a short presentation covering relevant or current topics in astronomy, tour of PARIand an observing session with PARI telescopes. The talk will be followed by about half an hour's worth of optical or radio observing before the evening ends.
