The Star Trek Club Alaric and Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute (PARI) are sponsoring a Curiosity Mars Landing Commemorative Event on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at the PARI campus in Rosman, NC.  The commemorative event runs from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.  Admission will be $30.00 per person.  Activities will include NASA feed of the historic Curiosity Mars Lander mission, presentations on the search for life on other planets, a StarLab planetarium program, and more!  Register for this event now.  For more information, email cwhitworth@pari.edu or ussalaric@gmail.com, or call 828-862-5554.
