“Our January program will introduce our SciGirls to electrical circuits,” said Christi Whitworth, PARI education director. “Participants will learn about electrical circuits and develop circuits in series and parallel. We will also experiment with material possibilities for use in the electrical design process. As with all our SciGirls programs, we will stress hands-on activities designed to introduce girls to science by making science fun.” PARI hosts a SciGirls event the last Tuesday of each month.
