PARI's Don Cline, Jo Cline, Michael Castelaz and PARI intern Justin Ritchie attended the 213th meeting of the AAS in Long Beach, California the week of January 4th-9th. They participated in a Special Session on Time Based Astronomy and presented three papers: Stellar Classification Online - Public Exploration (SCOPE), Polaris Tracking Telescope and The Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute. Both the participation in the Special Session and the SCOPE paper were based on support from a research grant from the NASA Education Directorate.
