January 2009 Astronomy Days at NC Museum of Natural Sciences
PARI staff and volunteers once again presented at the annual Astronomy Days at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh. Don and Jo Cline, Michael Castelaz, Christi Whitworth and Dave Clavier led the team. This year, in addition to introducing Smiley to thousands of budding astronomers, we demontrated the SCOPE project. Also, Mike and Christi made a presentation on becoming a Citizen Scientist.
