While at the US Naval Observatory to pick up astronomical plates to be stored at PARI, APDA Director Thurburn Barker made a presentation about PARI, APDA and our plate preservation program to USNO staff. Thurburn went to Washington, DC with Dave Clavier on June 10-11, 2009 to retrieve the plates.
