PARI staff, including Don and Jo Cline, Dave Clavier and Thurburn Barker visited with several organizations in Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD on May 11-14, 2010. They met with US Congressman Heath Shuler at the Capital. While at the US Naval Observatory to pick up an astronomical photographic plate collection, they met with several scientists. At the National Science Foundation they had a meeting with staff from the Astronomy Division. They drove to Baltimore to meet with the staff of the Space Telescope Science Institute. They met with the team that had previously organized the transfer of the GAMMA microdensitometers to PARI from STSsI.
