RFI Screen Room for Testing Equipment

PARI now has a Radio Frequency Interference Screen Room that will be used to test equipment, including the feeds that will be used for the 26 Meter Interferometer. The room, measuring 16' X 20' X 9 1/2', is completely encased in copper wire mesh. Also, the interior is covered in RFI absorbing foam.

Dr. John Meriwether Installs a SkyScanner Instrument at PARI

For the second year in a row, Clemson Professor Dr. John Meriwether led a team of students who came to PARI to install a Faby-Perot spectrometer they are using remotely to measure high velocity winds in the thermosphere.
