Engineering Projects at PARI this Summer
Several key engineering projects are underway at PARI this summer. Larry Avril and Bob Simcoe are working on reassembling the MicroD Scanners that were donated to PARI from NASA and STSci. Distinguished Friend of PARI Ken Steiner is working on upgrading the 40ft antenna in advance of the water maser project. The Yaskawa team from Minarik is on campus working with site engineer Ben Goldsmith to improve the functionality of the 26 East antenna in advance of the upcoming visit by DFM. The UNC-A/Furman University Team is continuing their work on the feeds to be used for the interferometer.

Upgrades to 26E and 26W Antenna
Supported by a grant from NASA, PARI's 26E and 26W Radio Antenna are being upgraded by DFM Engineering. Work has been underway preparing the flagship antenna for DFM Engineering's arrival on Monday, October 27th.
