Jo Cline Receives Recognition from GTCC

On Friday evening, August 28th, PARI Chair Jo Cline was recognized by the Guilford Technical Community College Foundation. That night the Saturn Display within the GTCC Cline Observatory Sidewalk Solar System was dedicated to Jo for her "enduring support of astronomy and her unwavering dedication to community education." She received a plaque celebrating the event.

Don Cline Receives Award from Guilford College

On Saturday, November 8, 2008, PARI President Don Cline received the 2008 Alumni Excellence Award from Guilford College. The award was presented by Associate Academnic Dean and Associate Professor of Physics Steven Shapiro.

Don Cline Named Champion of Science

On Saturday, April 19, 2008 the North Carolina Science, Mathematics and Technology Education Center will present Don Cline the Champion of Science, Mathematics, and Technology Award at their annual banquet in Cary, NC.
