Driving Directions to PARI from Greenville/Spartanburg, SC Airport
Driving Time - Approximately 1 Hour 30 Minutes
- Upon leaving the airport, turn right on I-85 South
- Travel 12 miles to I -385 North
- Drive approximately 6 miles to US-276 West
- Stay on US-276 West into Brevard (approximately 50 miles)
- Taking this route you will travel a winding road over a mountain to get into North Carolina. Driving time will be approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to Brevard
- In Brevard, US-276 becomes Main Street - Turn left on Broad Street which is US-64 (main intersection next to the courthouse)
- Travel west out of Brevard, NC on US-64. About 9 miles west of Brevard turn right onto NC-215 North (notice the Headwaters Outfitters landmark).
- Travel 6 miles on NC-215 (this is a winding road that will take approximately 15 minutes to drive).
- Turn left onto Macedonia Church Road. Go 1.6 miles. The entrance to the Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute (PARI) is on your left.
- Go through the main gate and travel about 0.5 miles. You will reach a guardhouse. Drive to the front of the Cline Administration Building (Building 1) Park next to the flagpole. Enter the main entrance and sign in.
