At PARI, scientific research is open to public participation and our target audience is K-gray—every experience level from kindergarten through retirement. In addition to our scheduled programs and volunteer opportunities, citizen scientists can access online resources, such as:
SCOPE Star Classification – access almost a million spectral images from part of the APDA (Astronomical Photographic Data Archive) astronomical plate collection and help scientists classify stars according to temperature, mass and composition.
Webcams – visit the PARI campus without leaving home.
Instrument Views – take a look at science being conducted on the PARI campus. Find out about local lightning strikes, meteors, earthquakes and more.
