Activities and learning experiences abound at PARI for educators and their students at all levels—on campus, at school, locations elsewhere and online. These experiences are specifically designed to support the curricula of both North and South Carolina. Here are some highlights.

School Programs – Schedule a PARI educator to visit your school for a planetarium presentation or other programs. Learn more here:

Programs At PARI – Of course, some of the most exciting programs take place on PARI’s campus. Schedule a field trip for your students or take advantage of other programs specifically for teachers.

Programs Elsewhere – PARI offers educational programs throughout the Southeast. Check to see if you qualify to participate in programs near you.

Online resources – Can’t make it to the PARI campus? Check out these online science activities.

Volunteering at PARI – Most of our programs involve volunteers. Become a part of the PARI team while learning to find constellations, set up and use both radio and optical telescopes, run computer programs and 3D printers, and many other things. You will also have opportunities to work with the public in astronomical observing programs. Also, invite your motivated students to participate as a volunteer at PARI.
