Homeschool Day at PARI
PARI holds Homeschool Day twice a year, in the spring (usually April) and fall (usually November). Check the PARI Events Calendar for the next scheduled program and registration instructions.
Each Homeschool Day at PARI features all-new educational experiences and includes age-appropriate (K-2, 3-5, 6-12) modules.
Where: PARI is located outside of Rosman, NC approximately a half-hour drive from Brevard. Directions to campus are available online.
Cost: $20 per student. No charge for parents/chaperones. Registrations are non-refundable.
Complete your registration in one of two ways:
- Reserve your spot online and pay the registration fee ($20/student) online. The registration fee must be received at PARI before Homeschool Day.
- Download a registration form (pdf) to mail in with the registration fee ($20/student). Mail to: PARI – Homeschool Day, One PARI Drive, Rosman, NC 28772.
Registration must be made in advance by completing the registration form and paying the registration fee. The registration fee may be mailed to PARI or paid online. Confirmation will be given upon receipt. All programs are limited to 25 students exclusive of parents/chaperones. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis.
Parents/Chaperones: All students must be accompanied by a responsible parent/chaperone. If you have more than one child in your family/group who are in different grade level groups and will be going to different programs at the same time, you must have a parent/chaperone for the child(ren) going to each program. Groups must have at least one parent/chaperone for each four students. Parents are encouraged to attend the sessions with their children, though exceptions can be made for high school age students whose parents/chaperones are with younger students. Please, do NOT bring children not participating in these programs; please make other arrangements for younger or older siblings.
Lunch: Please bring “brown bag” lunches for the lunch break. No lunch will be served at PARI. Soft drinks are available for purchase in the Cline Administration Building. Trash cans will be provided and each family/group is requested to clean up its area.
Restrooms: Restrooms are available in all buildings where activities occur.
Accessibility: All facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Break: Participants are encouraged to attend all the programs for which they are registered. However, there will be a break area in the cafeteria (Building 29). All children in the break area must be accompanied by a parent/chaperone as indicated above.
