The ongoing loss of a dark night sky as a natural resource for much of the world’s population is a serious and growing issue that not only impacts astronomical research, but also human health, ecology, safety, security, economics and energy conservation. Join science educator Christi Whitworth in a discussion that will heighten awareness of light pollution as a global problem with a local solution.
