What will global warming do to our world over the next century? |
|---|
|
The existence of global warming has been publicized increasingly over the past decade. Most everyone will now have heard about Vice President Al Gore winning an Oscar and a share of the Nobel Peace Prize. But do people understand that global warming is really and truly a serious problem? What we can expect in regard to consequences if we were to continue with "Business as Usual" without undertaking any corrective action? The global climate change community has diagnosed the danger of global warming as being highly credible. The talk will summarize the existing evidence to demonstrate this credibility and close with a discussion of mitigation and adaptation strategies. |
