Goals and Schedule
Space Science Lab scholars spend 1 week during the summer at PARI followed by periodic meetings through out the school year. The summer session is offered during two different weeks and students may indicate on their application which they prefer to attend.

Major goals for the week:
- Begin visual observations of the Moon using the optical solar telescopes
- Begin imaging the Moon with telescopes and cameras
- Build an optical telescope
- Search for lunar impacts
- Prepare for future observations using telescopes remotely
