Several on site weather stations are used for environmental monitoring, protecting personnel, and protecting instruments.

South Ridge Weather

This is a Davis Vantage Pro 2. It is located on the Optical Ridge at Lat. 35.1969°N, Long. 82.8729°W and 3070 ft MSL.

Central Area Weather

This is a Davis Vantage Pro 2. It is located at the Cline Building at Lat. 35.1996°N, Long. 82.8724°W and 2895 ft MSL.

North Ridge Weather -- West Tower

This is a Davis Vantage Pro 2. It is located on a 50' tower on the western end of the north ridge, near the heliport, at Lat. 35.2008°N, Long. 82.8748°W and 3015 ft MSL.
