The perfect way to start a meteorite collection! 🌠

A clear display box containing samples of the three main classes of meteorite, Iron, Stony-Iron (as a Pallasite), an Stony.  One piece each of these three meteorites are included:

• Sikhote-Alin : An iron meteorite that fell in the Sikhote-Alin mountains in Russia on February 12, 1947.
• Gold Basin : A stony meteorite found in Mohave County, Arizona in 1995 in an arroyo near the White Hills.
• Seymchan : A stony-iron palasite meteorite containing olivine crystals found in 1967 in Magadan Oblast, Russia.  The pallasite portions of this fall are much less common than portions that are just metallic.

Sikhote-Alin comes as a whole meteorite, Gold Basin and Seymchan are polished slices, allowing you to see the internal structure.

Each set comes in a clear, 2 inch square display case and includes a meteorite fact card that can be displayed or framed with your specimens.  There will be slight variations between each set.
