Satellite Services

PARI’s on-site radio telescopes were originally constructed by NASA for communication with satellites and spacecraft and are still viable today. These instruments may be modified to customer specifications for tracking and communications with satellites in low to deep space.

• An extensive fiber optic communications network connects campus buildings and provides remote access to
  radio telescopes and instruments via the Internet.
• Network service is provided by carrier-grade hardware and software in redundant on-campus data centers.
• All critical network systems are provided uninterruptible power, using carrier-grade UPS system
