Our new, spacious cabins include four rooms centered around a common area. Each room contains bunk beds, desks, and dressers and can sleep up to six occupants. Each room has private restroom facilities. Separate heat and air conditioning units serve each room and the common area, allowing for a comfortable environment for all. When used for formal camps, campers of the same gender and age range are housed together. For other types of groups, entire cabins can be dedicated to a group, or individual rooms.
Student and summer residences are determined by gender and age and offer a friendly atmosphere for fun, learning, and growth. Dormitories contain common areas and shared restroom facilities that are conveniently located next to dining and classrooms.
PARI lodging is available only when paired with other programming. We do not offer individual overnight stays.
Several areas on our 200+ acre site have been set aside for tent camping. Some are in open fields shared with large radio telescopes. Others are nestled between the trees alongside small mountain creeks. All offer beautiful views of PARI’s entire campus and the surrounding Pisgah National Forest. Camp sites have access to designated fire pits and cooking areas. Some are adjacent to bathroom and shower facilities.
Many of our lodging options have access to laundry facilities either in the same or a nearby building. All are within a short walk to our classroom, museum, and office spaces. Please inquire about availability of additional items such as refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, or anything else your group might require.
