As the Earth makes its journey around the Sun, our views of the sky change. Each season brings its own set of wonders to discover. From planets and moons to galaxies and nebulae, something unique and breathtaking is always ready to rise above the horizon. Enjoy our dark skies and mountain peaks for breathtaking views of the night sky. Our astronomers will guide your experience and point out the best of what each season has on display.
You can choose from three ways to attend this event.
Cabin Package
This ticket allows two people to attend the two hour, astronomer guided event, plus:
- Stay overnight in one of our well appointed private cabin rooms. Rooms include private bathrooms, individually controlled heating and cooling, microwave, mini-fridge, Keurig pod compatible coffee maker, and complimentary bottle of wine.
- Enjoy a PARI provided dinner.
- Drive up to one of our ridges to view the sunset.
- Stay up late if you wish for more observing.
- Enjoy a PARI provided breakfast the following morning.
- Arrival and times can be found in your ticket description. Departure is at 10am the morning after the event.
Additional attendees may join you in your cabin room by purchasing the ticket Cabin Additional Adult or Cabin Additional Child as appropriate. These must be purchased with the Cabin Package ticket. If you need to add them after your purchase, please contact us for assistance.
Camping Package
This ticket allows one person to attend the two hour, astronomer guided event, plus:
- Stay overnight in your own tent or camper at a campsite at PARI.
- Enjoy a PARI provided dinner.
- Drive up to one of our ridges to view the sunset.
- Stay up late if you wish for more observing.
- Enjoy a PARI provided breakfast the following morning.
- Arrival and times can be found in your ticket description. Departure is at 10am the morning after the event.
Evening Only Ticket –
- This ticket allows one person to attend the two hour, astronomer guided event.
- Arrival and departure times can be found in the ticket description.
- Meals are not included in the evening-only ticket, but you can add them to your visit. Please add a Dinner Add-on to your cart for each attendee who would like to add dinner to their Evening Only Ticket. Dinner Add-on also includes the guided museum tour between dinner and the start of the the event.

Saturn’s Rings & Galileo’s Moons – Friday, September 22nd 2023
Seeing the rings of Saturn with your own eyes for the first time is a memory that never leaves you. The light reflected by those delicate bands of dust and ice travels across our solar system to enter your eyes, light that can never be seen exactly that way again. Pair that with the giant of a planet, Jupiter, with its four largest moons making their slow march around it, and you have a night to remember.
Winter Wonderland – January 16th, 2026
The winter skies are often the clearest of the year. Join us for an evening highlighting the best of what the winter sky has to offer. We’ll show you bright constellations and view the star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies hidden within them. We might even peek at a planet or two.
All Evening at PARI events are rain or shine. If weather does not allow outdoor viewing, alternative programs will be offered. No refunds will be issued.
We recommend reviewing our Frequently Asked Questions before purchasing your tickets. Please take special note that our campus is a dark sky site and outdoor lighting is extremely minimal to preserve the darkness for both viewing and research.
The viewing portion of the event is outdoors, please dress accordingly for the season and weather. Viewings are adjacent to a building with heat and restroom facilities. Seating is provided for the event, though you are welcome to bring your own outdoor folding or camp chairs if you like.
